When will the consultation period for the neighbourhood plan start, and how can villagers get involved?

The plan is still in development following villagers feedback in two surveys mailed to residents. There is a presentation of the work to-date at the P{arish Council Open Morning on the 26th April 10am-12pm. The full consultation will follow in the standard timelines the plan guidance specifies. All of which will be posted to this website (as well as other local forums) in due course.

The neighbourhood plan seems to be progressing well with input from the community. It’s great to see CWAC incorporating the Parish Priority Statement into their local plan review. The upcoming presentation on April 26th will provide valuable insights into the current status of the plan. How can residents ensure their feedback is effectively considered during the consultation period?

Interesting to see the progress on the neighbourhood plan! It’s great that the steering group is actively working on it and considering villagers’ feedback from the surveys. The upcoming presentation at the Parish Council Open Morning sounds like a good opportunity to get more details. I’m curious, though, how the Parish Priority Statement will differ from the full neighbourhood plan—will it focus on specific issues? Also, will there be any online options for those who can’t attend the consultation in person? It’s good to know updates will be posted here, but will there be reminders or notifications to ensure everyone stays informed? Looking forward to seeing how this shapes up!

It’s encouraging to see the neighbourhood plan taking shape with such community involvement. The upcoming consultation period seems like a crucial opportunity for residents to voice their opinions and contribute to the future of the village. I’m particularly interested in how the Parish Priority Statement will align with the broader neighbourhood plan—will it highlight more urgent or specific priorities? The presentation on April 26th is a great initiative, but I wonder if there will be any follow-up sessions or materials for those who can’t attend. How can villagers ensure their feedback is not only heard but also effectively integrated into the final plan? I’d also like to know if there are plans for regular updates or forums to keep everyone informed as the process moves forward. Overall, it’s exciting to see this level of engagement—what’s your vision for the most impactful outcome of this plan?

The Priority statement and Neighbourhood plan will be drafted, approved firstly by each Parish council then it will go out to the residents for consultation via two parish wide mailing as well as notifications on Parish notice boards, website and social media. Residents feedback has already been incorporated from the two surveys that went to residents last year.

It’s good to see the neighbourhood plan moving forward with such community involvement. The Parish Priority Statement seems like a practical step to integrate local priorities into the broader plan. The presentation on April 26th will be a key moment for villagers to engage and ask questions. I’m curious, though, how the feedback from the surveys has shaped the plan so far—are there any notable changes or new focuses? It’s reassuring to know updates will be shared online, but will there be interactive sessions or forums where villagers can discuss and refine the plan further? Also, how can we ensure that the consultation period is inclusive and accessible to everyone, especially those who might not be able to attend in person? Looking forward to seeing how the plan develops and contributes to the village’s future!
