The orchard space should be re-instated at College Park and maintained as a green space for the whole community as per the original planning application by the developer (21/03468/FUL). The request to discharge condition 27 (25/00853) should not be permitted.
The planning was granted in view of the Orchard being a green space for the community and indeed for nature. The trees/lawn that were accidentally destroyed by the developer should be re-instated for the enjoyment of all:
    1. 12 rare apple trees
    2. 54 fruit trees
    3. germinal eco special lawn

This announcement is a great step towards community involvement and transparency. It’s fantastic to see the Neighbourhood Plan being made accessible both in hard copy and digital formats. However, I’m curious if there will be any public meetings or forums to discuss the plan in more detail? I’d love to hear more about how the feedback process will work and if there are specific areas of focus within the plan. Do you think the timeline for feedback is sufficient for residents to thoroughly review and respond? Personally, I believe this is an excellent opportunity for the community to shape the future, but it’s crucial to ensure everyone has a chance to participate meaningfully. What are your thoughts on facilitating broader engagement? Can’t wait to hear more!
